GAZING OUT

(selection from my English poems…)

by Marco Simonelli

TO SAY
to say i love you
would be right
make me small
make me fly

you say nothing
and you smile
should i hit you
or should i lie?

reply my heart
with some smoke
show me life
i'm none

i'm too little
i'm too bad
you don't know
how i'm sad
A POEM FOR NONE

this is just a story
without anything else
he was wondering why
suicide, suicide
the shadow of the man
screaming on the bed

then writing
reading a letter
from k.c. from nowhere
he had a punk life
he had a sick life
he lived his dream
he lived twice

FREE YR MIND

play with my life
into the screaming night

go down and up
trought a bored punk-heart

there is a hole in my soul
the abyss
full of flies
full of lies

strange feeling with my tv,
turpentine
i'am an abc

i'm an easy friend
i'm a no soul man…
TO C.

in the last notes
of your song
my dreams are lost
they fall apart as drops from a water-spout

take away from me, i beg you,
i remained too long along a glass bank
gazing at my stolen years
that now my desires
fall connecting themselves
to the soft power
of your poetry
