- "'E ccerase" è il titolo che Pasquale
Amendola , poeta, ha voluto dare alla sua opera,
significando la scorrevolezza a il succedersi delle
cose nella vita, come appunto le ciliegie "una tira
l'altra"; il segno esclusivo per accedere nella
personalità a nella poetica dell'Autore ; il
fattore determinante che svela una
complessità che ai meno preparati potrebbe
apparire quasi ambigua, ma ad osservatori attenti
utili ammaestramenti.
- Tuttavia, volendo apparire esigenti,
basterebbe rilevare la trascuratezza lessicale
ostentata, quasi uno stile dell'Autore, a disprezzo
di ogni struttura edificante nel piano della
melodia e del ritmo, a favore di un accattivante
momento poetico per dar vigore e risalto al
pensiero e all'anima.
- La forma di un modulo che svela le sue
origini ottocentesche si tramuta allora in una
filza di elementi caratterizzanti le stesse
vibrazioni del poeta. E in questo modo egli riesce
a dispensare, a volte, sprazzi lirici tali da
nobilitare le parole senza rima a senza ritmo ; da
dare spazio regale all'armonia ritrovata.
- Pasquale Amendola, poeta pregno di sagge
riflessioni, scosso dai tempi e dalle prospettive
di un mondo alienante, cerca di immaginare,
attraverso 'E ccerase, un'esistenza
tridimensionalmente nuova, immune da difetti,
piccoli o grandi, non curando la forma,
privilegiando la sostanza per portare celermente
nella giusta luce le virtù occulte del sud a
della sua gente sommersa da una mentalità
millenaria, imposta dagli eventi. L'Autore si
affretta perciò, con sentimento, altruismo e
amore, a offrire le sue riflessioni, sperando che,
almeno in parte, diano i frutti sperati, come
succede alla stagione più attesa; ai fatti
umani più allettanti e soprattutto alle
polpose drupe rosse, rotondeggianti che, "una tira
l'altra" , accarezzando le nostre papille, lasciano
in bocca la loro dolcezza, il loro sapore
inconfondibile a lungo.

- "Cherries" is the title that Pasquale Amendola,

the decisive element that reveals the complexity
that to the less aware could appear almost
ambiguous, but to the attentive observers gives
useful advice.
- Nevertheless, being demanding it would be
enough to notice the ostentatious lexical
roughness, almost a style peculiar to the Author,
in spite of any high structure from the point of
view of melody and rythm, in favour of a catching
poetical moment that gives vigour and emphasis to
though and soul.
- The shape of a method that reveals its 19th
century origins, transforms itself in a series of
elements characterizing the salve vibrations felt
by the poet. This way he manages to deliver,
sometimes, lyrical moments that give nobility to
the words that have no rhyme and no rythm and regal
space to the new-found harmony.
- Pasquale Amendola, a poet full of wise
thoughts, shaken by the time and the prospects of
an alienating world, tries to imagine, through
"Cherries", a tridimensionally new existence,
immune to faults big or small careless of form
privileging the substance to quickly bring in the
right light the dark virtues of southern Italy and
its people submerged by a millenary mentality,
imposed by events. For this reason, the Author,
with romanticism, generosity and love, quickly
offers his own reflections, hoping that, partly at
least they give the expected fruits as in the most
desired season, as with the most attractive human
facts, and especially with the round meaty red
drupes, that, "one pulls the other", caressing our
taste buds, leaving their sweetness in our mouth
their unmistakeable taste for a long time.
